Oven Steak Fries
Oven Steak Fries

These are the absolute BOMB!

Since I discovered this secret, I don’t think I will EVER eat deep-fried potatoes again.
This is probably even *good* for you since they are baked, and the oil used is olive oil!!!
Steak Fries

  • 4 large Russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Cut the potatoes into wedges lengthwise.  Then cut in half to make 2 pieces.  Place the potatoes in a bowl and toss with the olive oil.

Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil.  Spread the potatoes out in a single layer making sure a white part of the potato and not the skin is touching the foil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.  Add other seasonings too…whatever you like.

Bake for 30-40 minutes, depending on thickness of wedges.
