Pepperoni Pizza Pull-Apart Bread

This Pepperoni Pizza Pull Apart Bread is so close to the real thing, you’ll think it was delivered!  Great snack for sports fans.

I’m pretty sure I found the original on Pinterest, but that really doesn’t matter.

Perfect for snacks

I got this idea from Sweet & Simple Living.  I used one of Chris & Jen’s suggestions and added a few tweaks of my own here.  You can find their recipe here.

This bread is cheesy, spicy and just WONDERFUL!  Next, I am going to try this with hot or sweet Italian sausage instead of the pepperoni.  Maybe add a handful of chopped green onion too.

Packed with cheese and pizza flavor

As always, the cheese is just a guide.  Load it on if you want more (I always do!), and don’t forget the pizza sauce for dipping…BIG YUM!

The baking dish is Le Creuset‘s 1.8 qt rectangular in cherry.

Ingredients

  • 2 13.8 oz refrigerated pizza dough
  • 8 oz sliced pepperoni
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 2 tbsp diced sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley -OR- 1 tbs dehydrated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • pizza sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Note: May also be made in a Bundt pan like my Cheesy Onion Monkey Bread
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 13 x 9-inch pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Open tubes of pizza crust but DO NOT unroll. Cut in 1-inch pieces (that resemble pre-cut biscuits), then cut each circle into quarters.
  • Cut pepperoni slices into quarters as well.
  • Place all ingredients, except olive oil and pizza sauce, in a large bowl and toss well to combine. Drizzle with the olive oil and toss so that all the pizza dough is coated with oil.
  • Turn into prepared pan, distributing evenly.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top and dough in the center is cooked.
  • Serve with pizza sauce for dipping.
