Green Bean Casserole
Green bean casserole is a classic Thanksgiving side dish! Easy to make and you will never have to worry about having leftovers.
- 56 oz (4 cans) cut green beans drained
- 21.5 oz (2 cans) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups french fried onions
- .75 cup milk half and half, or cream
- .5 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly spray or grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Mix the soup, soy sauce, milk and pepper in a large bowl.
Stir in the green beans and ONE HALF of the can of onions.
Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Top with the remaining half can of onions
Return to oven and bake an additional 5 minutes to crisp and toast the onion.
