Sugar Maple Bacon Smokies
These maple bacon smokies are the perfect easy cocktail party appetizer, and they're delicious for game day snacks too! You can double or even triple this recipe to serve a crowd.

- 1/2 lb bacon
- 24 cocktail franks
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- small wooden skewers
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut bacon in thirds. Wrap each 1/3 piece of bacon around a cocktail frank. Secure bacon with skewer. Repeat until all bacon is used.
Place on baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake 20-30 minutes, or until sugar is melted and bacon is browned and crisp
