Cranberry Sauce

Homemade cranberry sauce is easier to make than you might think, and it tastes SO much better than sauce from a can!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries (1 bag is usually 12 oz)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 strip orange peel 1/2-inch x 2-inches
  • 2 tbs water

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a medium saucpan
  • Heat over medium heat stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  • Bring to boil and allow to boil for 10 minutes.
  • Cool to room temperature and refrigerate until ready to use.
