- 2 cups quick oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour*
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 slices bacon finely diced
- 1/2 cup or so water
*If you don't give your pooch wheat, then substitute another flour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper; set aside.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Add the water 2 tbs at a time until you get a dough that sticks together and can be rolled. I used about 1/2 cup here, but yours may vary.
Roll out and cut into desired shapes. Place on prepared sheets and bake 30-40 minutes. Turn off oven and let biscuits sit in the oven until the oven is cool. This dries the biscuits to store better.
Makes about 2 dozen 3-inch biscuits.
