<p>Facebook fan Diane G. and I were discussing our dogs on my page a while ago and she told me she had this stupidly EASY recipe that she makes for her dog that had only 2 ingredients. She said her pooch loved them.</p>

<p>My guy ran out of the last batch of <a style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;" href="https://bakeatmidnite.com/2013/06/chicken-cheese-dog-biscuits-aka-mommy.html" target="_self" rel="noopener noreferrer follow" data-wpel-link="internal">Mommy Cookies</a> I made so I made these for the first time today&#8211;so easy I couldn&#8217;t believe it!!</p>
<p>I had made the mistake of not buying enough of the strained baby food, so I topped it up with some thawed pumpkin I had frozen to make my dog some <a href="https://bakeatmidnite.com/2013/01/pumpkin-dog-biscuits.html" target="_self" rel="noopener noreferrer follow" data-wpel-link="internal">pumpkin biscuits</a>.  So these in the pic are actually 3 ingredients LOL.</p>
<p>Diane said you could use about any strained baby food&#8211;fruit, veggies or meat and she did caution to read the ingredients as some baby foods have onion/onion powder which may not be so good for your dog.</p>
<p>A good way to get around this is to puree your own meat/fruit/veggies.  A blender, food processor or Ninja is all that&#8217;s necessary to do this.</p>
<p>Another great part of this recipe is the variety of grains you can use.  I use whole wheat flour, but if you don&#8217;t give your dogs wheat because they have a sensitivity, then spelt or rolled oats will do.  Probably even rice flour&#8211;although Diane didn&#8217;t mention this, so I don&#8217;t know if it&#8217;s been &#8220;tested&#8221; or how it comes out.  She said you can even mix your grains too if you wanted to do so.</p>
<p>These were a big hit&#8211;my guy taste tested one as soon as it was cool and probably wanted more by the way he kept going over and eyeing his cookie jar.</p>
