I really appreciate that Angela--and no problem about the time frame. I've edited posts from 2 years back to give additional info as it comes in!

I'll definitely tell you know how these pork chops turned out in my mom's old (200 deg.) Crock Pot from the 70s. I'll check the chops after 4 hrs., but perhaps 5 hrs. will be sufficient time, we'll see..... I'll let you know, so that you can edit & post the results. This may take me a couple of weeks to do, since I'm presently dealing with my family's Spring Break.

You'll never go wrong making your own condensed soups, Angela. They taste SOOOoooo much better than the canned and it's pretty easy to make. I have no more old crock pots, but if you have an older baby, then I'd still check it in 4 hours, but I'd plan on 6 hrs. Even if the chops fall apart, it'll still taste good. Let me know your results so I can edit the post and give folks a definitive answer.

Is this the 'OLD' recipe' for Crock Pots (which formerly cooked at 200 degrees?)....or is this for the newer Slow Cookers (which cooks at 300 degrees)? (Also, I love your homemade versions of the canned soups. I also found that some of my old favorite condensed soups have been discontinued throught the years.... too bad, and I miss them!
So, if we're making these Pork Chops in an old Crock Pot (which many of us have), how long should we cook them (if our Crock Pot cooks at 200 degrees?)
Since my family and I love mushrooms.....I'll add in some sliced "Baby Bella" mushrooms into the mixture, and it also needs some freshly grated garlic Al in all, these Pork Chops sound delicious. Enjoy!
