					<description><![CDATA[We love using leeks. I don&#039;t find them difficult to use at all. How I clean them is to discard the root and the tough green part. Then I slice down the middle lengthwise. Let cold running water rinse the layers and the sandy grit washes right out. I do that with the other half then I thinly slice the leeks. I used to do it with the leeks soaking in water and lifting them out of the water but this way the dirt just washes out. Anyway, your recipe sounds fantastic!! Have a great weekend.]]></description>
