Really easy and delicious! Never use canned fruit any more but I bought a can to try it. I also sprinkled a bit of cinnamon on the peaches before pouring on the topping. My mom used to make something just like this in the "olden days".

A good quick dessert! I've made this for years. It is a popular quick fix dessert down here in the south. The first time I saw it was in a newspaper cooking section, and it used biscuit mix, like Bisquick. That recipe called for the mix, sugar, and milk to be poured into the buttered baking dish and then the canned peaches poured over it and more melted butter drizzled over all.

Other canned fruit, like pears and pineapple, is good also. I've also used canned pie fillings with good results.
