Gooey Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Serves: 24
  • 8 oz cream cheese at room temp
  • ½ cup butter at room temp
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 2 tbs flour
  • confectioner’s sugar for dusting
  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese & butter till smooth.
  2. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
  3. Mix in in the cake mix and the flour.
  4. Cover & refrigerate for 2 hrs to firm up the dough.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  6. Roll the chilled dough into balls about 1-inch in diameter.
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheets 2-inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12 minutes. Cool on sheets 1 minute. Then place on a rack to cool completely.
  9. Dust with confectioner’s sugar once cooled.
