Thank you for saying to use “weighing” but I am old American School and use cups. Sorry – but at 71 I have no intention of changing and purchasing a scale.

I no longer bake using cup measures. I weigh for consistency. It’s approximately 7/8 of a standard cup but your results might be less than desired. Weighing is actually much faster and produces consistent results.
