Peanut Butter and Bacon Dog Biscuits |
These nutritious dog biscuits combine your pooch’s favorite flavors–peanut butter and bacon. May be made wheat free if you like.
Nothing much needs to be said here–except I make my own dog biscuits because it’s cheaper and my guy really likes them.
Your dog will love you for it! |
Now, my animals don’t have a problem with wheat, so I use whole wheat flour as the flour, but use anything you like, just as long as you get a dough you can (sorta) roll.
My name is Byron and I approve these biscuits |
Whatever, your dog will love them because of the peanut butter and the bit of bacon in there for flavor.

Peanut Butter and Bacon Dog Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 cups quick oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour*
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 slices bacon finely diced
- 1/2 cup or so water
Instructions
- *If you don't give your pooch wheat, then substitute another flour.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper; set aside.
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Add the water 2 tbs at a time until you get a dough that sticks together and can be rolled. I used about 1/2 cup here, but yours may vary.
- Roll out and cut into desired shapes. Place on prepared sheets and bake 30-40 minutes. Turn off oven and let biscuits sit in the oven until the oven is cool. This dries the biscuits to store better.
- Makes about 2 dozen 3-inch biscuits.
