I’m sure everyone knows Ashley Wagner, aka, The Center Cut Cook.
Ashley, a few other bloggers and I, run the recipe page “Amazing Recipes.” Ashley has been a friend of mine for some time now and all of us were shocked to learn last week that her husband, Ryan, who is only 29 years old, was diagnosed with colon cancer.
While this shocked and saddened the blogging community, especially made worse by the time of year, we can’t imagine the horrors that they are going through.
Our little group has decided to do what we can do for them. Ashley and Ryan are self employed and since Ashley’s main focus now is helping Ryan recover, there won’t be an income coming into their home. That’s why we decided to start a fund for them. Every little bit helps. I’ve walked a mile in Ashley’s shoes so I know what this is like; it’s far from good.

What we are also doing is posting our favorite “comfort recipes” to bring some cyber comfort to the Wagners.
So what I bring to the Wagner’s table is good old CHICKEN SOUP. Comforting and they say it cures a number of things…so I’m posting a link to it to aid in Ryan’s speedy recovery.
